About Me
I was born in England and grew up in Bavaria, where my connection to wood and craftsmanship truly began. After school, I trained at the carpentry school in Bad Aibling and earned my qualification as a certified carpenter. A few years of employed work gave me the experience and confidence to start my own business in 1998.
In 2014, life took me to Christchurch, New Zealand. There, I worked on a wide range of projects across the city, contributing to the rebuild after the devastating 2011 earthquakes, an experience that shaped both my skills and my appreciation for resilient, thoughtful construction.
I returned to Europe in 2018, and Spain has been my home ever since. As a registered autónomo, I continue to work with wood every day, building carports, gazebos, and pergolas, and specialising in conversions such as insulation, gib lining, and timber interior finishes
